I started The Flower Tree in 2016, when I first embarked on my flower growing dream. I vividly remember sitting on our sitting room floor with lots of different flower related words trying to create our business name. Chris runs is own forestry business and, when I look back now I think he was determined to include some of his work in my name! So I am and the Flower and Chris is the Tree.
We are now about to embark on season number seven and a lot has changed since I grow my first Sweet Pea plant. The Flower Tree has moved site (in 2020) and the direction of our business has evolved more than we ever dreamed. So it felt like the right time to create a new look. Growing is at the very heart of what we do. We sow tiny seeds that grow into little seedlings to then produce the most beautiful flowers. We sell the seedlings and the blooms. We have worked with Helen (a close friend and an incredibly talented graphic designer) to create our new logo and website. We hope you like it and find it easy to navigate around.
I will be doing more regular blog posts through the year. These will be written by myself, Bryony and Lesley and will hopefully include a lot of helpful sowing, growing and propagating tips for you.
